More than often Land Developers are unable to sub-divide their large parcels of land as there were no sewerage available. Consequently, the Land Developers need to wait for the sewerage to be made available. More than often there is a lengthy period for the availability of sewerage service. To overcome this problem Melbourne Water instigated a program to allow the construction of temporary package plants to service the growing demand amongst land developers seeking sewerage services.

DP8  staff member was responsible for the program management of the installation, testing, commissioning, operations and maintenance of over 15 No. package wastewater treatment plants for Melbourne Water. Package plants ranged from 150 EP to 1,000 EP.

All of these package wastewater treatment were able to confirm with Victoria EPA effluent discharge requirements.
